LNG Heating Solutions

Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) has an important role in heat generation by industrial units in Nigeria. Furnaces, kilns and boilers in manufacturing plants using liquid fuels such as diesel and HPFO have much higher cost of heat generation, compared to using gas. LNG costs less than Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and reaches remote locations for industrial units not located on or near a gas pipeline.
Greenville LNG supplies LNG pan-Nigeria, using virtual pipeline; LNG is moved in cryogenic tankers by road. With a fleet of more than 200 such cryogenic tankers, Greenville has established a virtual pipeline in Nigeria and can maintain steady supplies all year round.
Greenville also assists in installing LNG storage tanks and regassification skids/vaporizers at customer sites. LNG is regassified and used by these customers for operating their heating applications such as furnaces, kilns and boilers.
Use of LNG by customers reduces their cost of heating by about 20% compared to use of HPFO and by about 45% compared to use of diesel. Our customers do not only benefit from reduced operating costs, they also contribute to a cleaner environment by reducing emission of pollutants and soot to the atmosphere.
