LNG Power Solutions

Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) has an important role in the generation of power by industrial and commercial units in Nigeria. On-grid electricity supply is not adequate for these units, which necessitates captive power generation using liquid fuels such as diesel and HPFO. The cost of such captive power generation by these industrial and commercial users is prohibitively high.
Greenville LNG supplies LNG to all parts of Nigeria, LNG is distributed in cryogenic tankers by road using LNG fuelled trucks. With a fleet of more than 200 cryogenic tankers, Greenville can maintain steady supplies all year round.
Greenville also assists in installing LNG storage tanks and vaporisers at the sites of the customers. LNG is regassified and used by these customers for operating their captive gas generators. Greenville offers gas generators to its customers; customers can also procure them from third parties.
Use of LNG by customers reduces their cost of captive power generation by about 20% compared to use of HPFO and by about 45% compared to use of diesel. Not only customers benefit from reduced operating costs, they also contribute to a cleaner environment by reducing emission of pollutants and soot to the atmosphere.
